On this page, you’ll find a number of websites that I have designed and built.
Do you want a beautiful, professional website that really delivers results as well?
Project: DjHuren.nl
This site marks the start of my website journey back in 2003. I’m a professional DJ as well, and I built my own website to showcase and sell my services.
Even though I’ve rebuilt the entire website several times already, the fundament is still the same. DjHuren.nl is a prime example of a great lead generation website and generates hundreds of inquiries per year.
Various DJ show packages are offered on this site, which are added as WooCommerce products.
I also used custom post types for things like venues, dj’s and reviews – all with their own properties and automatically generated overview pages.
Project: BMI Mergers
BMI Mergers has multiple offices throughout the USA and helps business acquire or sell their company.
I used custom post types to showcase their services, the industries they specialize in, their current engagements and past transactions.
There’s also a related custom post type for team members, so the right team members are shown on different pages.
Project: AE Connected
AE Connected sells mobile internet solutions with 2 products: routers and SIM cards. For this, Bob used related custom post types so that the correct SIM cards can be linked to the correct routers.
Customers can find the right product for their situation on the website using extensive filters, or use an interactive advice tool on the homepage built with a multi-step form.
Project: BDA Dak en gevel opleidingen
BDA provides on-site training courses and wanted to sell them via their website. Each course has a number of fixed attributes, such as the price, the duration of the course, the level, and the type of course.
Most courses are held over multiple days and have a limited number of spots. If a specific date is full, it can no longer be reserved.
To achieve this, Bob added a custom post type for the courses, with custom fields for the attributes. The course dates were added as WooCommerce products, so we were able to utilize inventory management for the limited number of spots and allow direct checkout upon reservation.
Project: Viip
ViiP is a network of women working at an academic level in the Dutch pension sector. Their new website needed a feminine yet professional look that fits well with their new corporate identity.
In addition to an calendar with upcoming activities, there is also a private members’ area with a member list and vacancies. This information is therefore only visible to logged-in users; if you are not logged in, you will only see a login screen.
Custom post types were used for both the vacancies and the member list, allowing the member list to be filtered by various properties.
Project: Media Adviseurs Nederland
Media Adviseurs Nederland had their website built by me years ago, but it was time for a new one.
The new website had to be a modern “scrolling” website with beautiful animations and large images (which I generated using AI).
This is largely a one-page website, which means that most of the content is on the homepage. Consequently, the items in the navigation menu do not link to another page but to a specific section on the homepage.
Project: Doenwerkt
The website of recruiter Doen Werkt is also a one-page website for the most part.
Interesting features on this site include the sticky photo that stays in place while you scroll, a testimonials and logo slider, and a calendar module that allows potential clients to schedule an appointment directly.
With a color scheme consisting mainly of gray, black, and white, the green accent color and the purple jacket in the photo really pop.
Project: Speakerkoning
Aart from Speakerkoning is a supplier of professional speakers. He had built his website himself and was ready for a more professional site.
The old website had a dark background, and since the products Speakerkoning sells are also often black and dark grey, we retained that atmosphere on the new site by working with various dark grey shades.
By using the yellow from the logo as an accent color, it really pops.
Aart uses the site solely for lead generation and does not sell directly through the site, but despite this, I chose to build the website using WooCommerce.
After all, it concerns products divided into different product categories (brands), and if Aart ever decides to start selling directly through the website, the right foundation for that is already in place.
Project: InstallBrabant
Installation company InstallBrabant had their website built by me in 2018 already, but owner Bas felt it was time for a new look & feel 5 years later.
Bob built an atmospheric, warm website highlighting their most important services, with a strong focus on the local character of this company.
Project: Eduard van Beinum
The Public Primary School Eduard van Beinum in Rotterdam had commissioned a colorful, playful new corporate identity and wanted a website that matched it perfectly.
With a large photo slider on the homepage and many photos and colored shapes on the pages, this was achieved perfectly 🙂
In addition to a lot of information, the site also contains several contact forms that new parents can use to sign up for tours or open mornings.
Project: Outdoors
Event and accommodation venue Outdoors Holten needed a professional website to reach their diverse target audiences.
Bob built a rugged site featuring many round shapes that fit well with the location’s round logo and outdoor concept. Since the location is situated in the middle of nature, many (pastel shades of) natural colors such as brown, blue, and green were used in the design.
A widget for their external booking system was also integrated into the site.
Project: Artiestenbureau.eu
With the extensive filtering options on Artiestenbureau.eu, visitors can quickly find the right artist for their event.
All artist pages are automatically created and populated using a template with dynamic content, for which I used Toolset Custom Post Types .
Each artist page contains a contact form allowing customers to request a quote directly. The artist also receives a copy with all relevant info, so he or she can check his/her calendar and let us know if they’re available.
